spirit 指比「物質」、「靈質」更高的「靈性」境界，例如在地球上的人是「物質的」，在宅廈世界復活後是「靈質的」，離開地方宇宙後是進入「靈性的」。
「屬靈」一般是指「屬於靈的」，如在地球上生活的人，除了是「物質的」之外，也是屬靈存有(spiritual beings)，但還稱不上是靈性存有（spirit beings）。
Spirit 也可以指 「靈」，如萬有之父的「靈」。有時因中文需要，必須以兩個字來形容「靈」，如身體、心智、靈。我們暫用「靈性」（而非屬靈）。Or 就用「靈」。
